Each lecture or lecture series has been designed to address educational gaps and needs related to the field of radiology. A variety of didactic and interactive techniques with images and demonstrations are used to enhance learning of new knowledge and to improve competency in radiology practice. After completing the lecture(s), learners may claim CME credits by achieving a minimum performance score of 80% on a 5-item posttest.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of these two activities, the participant will:
- Examine the most effective imaging techniques for upper extremities venous interpretation.
- Review how to perform the exam and interpret the results.
- Analyze abnormal waveforms.
- List common vascular abnormalities.
- Review venous sonography and imaging compression.
- Explain why color Doppler is an integral component to many diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Review how Doppler analysis is utilized as an important adjunct to diagnostic imaging.
