Readers complete the activity by reading a peer-reviewed article, reviewing references, and then responding to a minimum of five self-assessment questions online.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the reader will be able to:

• Recognize the importance of enterprise-wide programs focused on standardization of CT imaging protocols and tracking of radiation exposures resulting from CT.
• Understand the concept of diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) and the essential steps involved in customizing exam-specific DRLs for one’s practice using professional society guidelines
• Leverage information technology to achieve quality improvement targets in radiology.
