2022 Virtual Advocacy Boot Camp
This two-hour-long recorded virtual advocacy boot camp is specifically tailored for physicians, and you will learn how to become an effective advocate for your profession as well as earn 2.25 CME. During this virtual boot camp, you will hear from ACR staff, your peers, and advocacy professionals on a variety of advocacy-related topics. The theme for this year’s advocacy boot camp is “Learning How to Amplify Your Advocacy Voice.”
Topics covered include:
- The basics about how to advocate for your profession.
- How to advocate for evidence-based health policies.
- How to utilize your knowledge, as a specialty physician, to craft your advocacy message.

Description
Online Claiming Instructions
In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must complete an activity post-test and evaluation. Participants must receive an 80% or higher score on the post-test. The participant has three attempts to pass the post-test and claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Identify resources that provide insight into legislative and regulatory activity that influences healthcare practice and policy.
- Describe how federal and state legislative and regulatory processes function and recognize how to effectively influence these processes.
- Explain how to apply lessons learned in narratives/case studies to practical applications of advocacy at the state and federal level.
